At each venue there are a limited amount of Last Minute offers available to customers. From a customer perspective, it’s first in best dressed. Which means, not every single person in the venue will be receiving a discount.
Venues will discount, but not for one drink. By having a Minimum Spend in place, they know that the customers will spend enough to ensure they remain profitable. You can read more about Minimum Spends here.
Most venues open their doors even when they are unlikely to have 30% capacity. Their fixed costs like rent must be paid regardless of how busy they are. Clipp solves a problem for venues by marketing their business to all Clipp customers. Customers benefit from access to heavily discounted pricing in the venue, such as 40% off the entire food & drink bill. Venues benefit from having those customers come in, when it’s likely that they wouldn’t have without the offer incentive.
